Our philosophy

We have reached a point in our lives where we are aware of our values and want to share them with other people. We have decided to live our lives NOW and not later.

This prompted us to take a trip to our friends in Costa Rica near La Fortuna in 2020. We liked the country, this place and the nature and were inspired to take this place in the countryside to our hearts.
That is why it has become this piece of land, Costa Rica and the people, to live and share our new values.

Together instead of alone, sustainability instead of consumption, organic instead of chemicals, introspection instead of distraction, self-determination instead of dependency and much more.

We open our oasis to anyone who wants to do something good for themselves. If you wish, you can benefit from my many years of experience in teaching Pilates and training Pilates instructors, in nutritional counseling and coaching. Here we can support you in a paradise to regain more joie de vivre, vitality, harmony and connectedness. Be it in the large, individually tailored retreats or just for a few nights in the beautiful, light-flooded treehouse bungalows.

We love to offer people added value so that you immediately feel at home with us. A place where you can be who you are and feel accepted and understood in your entire being. We love the exchange with interesting people, inspiring conversations and cozy get-togethers.

Ilona H. Hefty

Even as a child I liked to exercise. At the age of 17, I turned my hobby of jazz dance into a profession. My own back problems brought me into contact with classical Pilates and yoga. I realized how brilliantly the classical Pilates method works and have been able to help many people in my many years of experience as a Pilates trainer. I realized that our soul expresses itself through our body and that everything is connected. I know that Pilates training, healthy, vital nutrition, detoxification and a powerful mindset will make your body your best friend again! Let’s walk this path together. Together we can do anything!

Benno Moser

Here I can finally pursue my dreams and wishes of working creatively. I have always been fascinated by mechanics, which is why I chose a career as a machine mechancer.

I accompanied the construction here in Costa Rica and often helped our architect and construction manager with my know-how and expertise. I always enjoy discovering opportunities for optimization and look forward to working around the Oasis to guarantee you the usual safety and comfort. I also enjoy cooking, entertaining guests and love communicating with people. That’s why I look forward to the support I can give at the retreats.

And who knows what else I will discover that will bring me joy? PURE DISCOVERY!

Our quest for vitality

Here at Finca FE, we grow our own organic fruit and vegetables as a community. They are processed with a lot of love, tradition and care so that you as a guest can enjoy them too. Healthy, fresh and sun-ripened food cleanses and nourishes our body from the inside. Our goal

In the near future, we want to generate all our electricity from solar energy. Fortunately, we already have our own water from a local spring. This makes us independent and even more connected to nature. We want to use these natural resources to change this land as little as possible and preserve this paradise for our children and grandchildren.

With this in mind, we let life take its course and are excited to see what we can experience together with you here.
